The position will be based out of a home office of the Technician.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, use hands to operate a computer and calculator, and communicate accordingly. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Previous customer service experience with excellent written and oral communications skills.Able to read and interpret building plans and blueprints.Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.Good understanding of HVAC mechanical systems.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well with changing priorities.3-5 years field experience as a mechanical technician using small hand tools.Complete tasks as directed by installation & service schedules with minimum supervision.Prepare, complete and submit all technical paperwork per company guidelines.Perform onsite property survey and equipment specification as instructed in scope of work.Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on installed equipment as required.Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment installed in client locations as required.Interface with Client Relations personnel to coordinate shipment of replacement equipment when needed.Follow up with customers receiving service to verify expectations are achieved.
